Accessibility statement
Care that is hard to reach is not care. That principle applies to this website too.
Last updated September 1, 2026
Phoenix Behavioral Health & Wellness is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Measures taken during design and development include:
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a single page heading, and logical order
- A skip link to bypass navigation and reach the main content directly
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Full keyboard operability, including menus and expandable sections
- Color contrast meeting or exceeding the 4.5 to 1 ratio for body text
- Text that reflows and remains readable at 200 percent zoom and on small screens
- Form fields with associated labels, clear error messages, and helpful hints
- Motion that is reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion
- Meaningful alternative text on images, with decorative imagery hidden from assistive technology
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review new pages and features as they are added, and we correct issues as they are found or reported.
Third-party content
Some elements of this site, such as the embedded map, are provided by third parties. We do not control their accessibility, and we provide the same information in text form so that no content depends on those components alone.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult to use, we want to hear about it and we will help you get the information you need another way.
Call (903) 300-1055 during office hours, or email hello@phoenixbhw.com. Please tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond within one to two business days.
