Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
How information submitted through this website is collected, used, and protected.
Last updated September 1, 2026
Phoenix Behavioral Health & Wellness (“Phoenix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through https://www.phoenixbhw.com (the “Site”).
This policy covers the Site only. Health information created or received in the course of treatment is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices and by applicable state and federal law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to provide, plus limited technical information:
- Nothing collected by the Site itself. This Site has no contact form and no place to type anything. It does not collect, store, or transmit information you enter, because there is nothing to enter.
- Information you send directly. Email and voicemail you send to us, including any details you choose to include.
- Technical information. Standard server and hosting records such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed, used to keep the Site secure and functioning.
Please do not include detailed medical, clinical, or other sensitive personal information when you email us. Those channels are not encrypted end to end and are not a secure method for transmitting protected health information. If you do include health information, we do not treat it as any less protected. We handle it in line with our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law. Asking you not to send it is about the security of the channel it would travel over, not about limiting our responsibility for it once we have it.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, to schedule a consultation
- To provide information about our services, programs, or advisory engagements
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to operate this Site, such as website hosting and, where a map is displayed, Google Maps. These providers may process limited technical information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide their service to us.
Because the Site has no form, nothing you write to us passes through our website host at all. Email you send arrives directly in our own business email system, which is operated for us under a written agreement that addresses the handling of protected health information. No outside form service or marketing platform sits in between, and none holds a copy of what you write.
Cookies and analytics
This Site does not use advertising cookies and does not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we introduce website analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how it is used. Third-party components such as an embedded map may set cookies under their own privacy terms.
How we protect information
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. The Site is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us electronically.
Retention
Inquiries are retained in our email system only as long as needed to respond and to meet our legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations, then disposed of securely. If your inquiry leads to care with us, relevant information may become part of your clinical record and is then kept for the period required for records of that kind.
Your choices and rights
- You may ask us to correct or delete an inquiry you submitted through the Site.
- You may ask that we contact you by a specific method, or that we stop contacting you entirely.
- If you become a Phoenix guest, your rights over your health record are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@phoenixbhw.com or (903) 300-1055.
Children
This Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Links to other sites
The Site links to outside resources, including crisis and support organizations. We provide those links for convenience and do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of other organizations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted here.
